Annual report of the EP on the state of gender equality in the EU for 2011. The European Parliament adopted its annual report on equality between men and women in the EU in 2011. The Rapporteur concentrated on 5 issues: equal economic independence, equal pay, equality in decision-making, fight against sexual violence and gender equality beyond the Union.

The article 47 of the report concentrated on access to reproductive health services (abortion, contraception and maternal health) and mentioned recent attempts to further restrict access to SRHR. Furthermore, the Rapporteur MEP Sophie In't Veld addressed the discrimination in Europe of single-person households and the problem of domestic violence.
