In 11-12 November in Warsaw ASTRA together with the OSI is organizing a seminar on Women and HIV in CEE.The conference seeks to bridge the gaps among service providers, advocates and affected communities in the arenas of sexual and reproductive health.

HIV/AIDS treatment and care; harm reduction; and sex worker issues so that HIV/AIDS prevention efforts are undertaken in a more holistic, coordinated and collaborative way. Presently, I am in a process of preparing the agenda and identyfying the participants from these three communities.

I am writing to you to help me with this effort and make some good recommendations of potential speakers and participants from HIV and sex-workers communities. I am looking for good speakers from CEE who could raise important issues as they relate to HIV/AIDS and who could be interested in collaboration with other communities, countries.

Please, send me some contacts of people from your communities working in HIV/AIDS. It could be groups dealing with prevention, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, harm reduction, services, sex workers policy makers. The speakers should be good speakers in English, have experience in the field, gender-sensitive, willingness to cooperate with other communities.

The seminar will not be very big - circa 30 people. The selection will be made on the basis of the involvement in this issue.
Looking forward to your help.
